House System
In order to foster a healthy competitive spirit and create a sense of belongingness, students are divided into four houses. Each house is headed by two captains, a girl and a boy and five teacher in-charge.
YELLOW HOUSE
Yellow house is the Einstein House, named after the Scientist who gave his theory E=MC2 to the world. The motto of the house is based on the famous quote "Imagination is more important than knowledge", therefore the house works towards imagination and creative learning.
RED HOUSE
This stands for the Nobel Prize Winner C.V. Raman and is known as the Raman House. The house bears the motto of enriching curious minds founded on the famous saying of CV Raman "Ask the right questions, and the nature will open the doors to her secrets".
GREEN HOUSE
This house is named after Rabindranath Tagore and is known as the Tagore House. The Motto of the house is in unison with our school's motto "we live in deeds not in years" as this house is based on the famous quote of Tagore "You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water".
BLUE HOUSE
Blue House known as the Teresa House bears the message of purity, peace and love. The motto of the house is to create a difference by oneself, which is principally based on Mother's quote "Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person".
Inter - House competitions are organized in Sports, Dramatics, Debates , Quiz, Elocution, Art and Music etc. Points are awarded to students of each house throughout the year for their performances in academics, Co-curricular activities games and sports. At the end of the year the house gaining the maximum points is taken for a picnic along with the house teachers. Merit certificates are awarded to the winners and house points are determined on points awarded to the winners.
